I need to make a website for my doula/prenatal care business but I don't know how and I don't want to pay for one.

AAAAAACK! Two more hours of work!! How slow can this day go!!??

So we're trying to register our ontario 1995 neon in bc. I went to "Nic's garage" a feminist sweet fucking place that put flowers on my dashboard and drove me to work when I put it in for the inspection. The inspection was $85, the cost of repairs to the car to be certified ...... $3000!! The owner of the garage called me back and said he would get a second estimate, and pay for the second inspection. This inspection looked only at things that had to be done for safety reasons...the estimate for these repairs $800. Wow!! I said that's awesome what a big difference.....but still a little much for me to pay in general and for a car I might not even be able to sell for that much.

Showed the list of repairs, parts and prices to the head mechanic at work. He promptly told me I was being milked and called another place for prices for parts...almost all of the parts at this second place were half as much as Nic's and they charge $50.00/hr for work as opposed to $82.50. So now, I have to go to Nic's garage and say to this very nice man who did me a big favour, used his own money to do it and drove me to work, that his garage is too expensive for me and I'm taking it somewhere else for the work.

Boooooo. Bad form Amanda. But I guess that's fair isn't it?

I just have to complain.....I am tired and embarassed with how long it's taking me to write thank you letters for the wedding....

Today is the last day to go see the photo show at the Peterborough Public Library about women in Africa fighting AIDS/HIV. I went on Tuesday, learned so much and felt deeply moved and inspired. The show speaks better for itself.

So I'm writing this essay for a women's studies course and I'm having extreme difficulty applying myself. I think it is for a few reasons.

1. I just don't want to write it
2. The topic is too hard for 8 pages
3. The topic is too easy for 8 pages
4. I'm a bum

How do I change access to my entire journal to privat or friends only?

We found a place in Vancouver!!! It's great, it's big, the landlords are awesome and earthy, it's near commerical drive and has laundry and a yard!! I have pics but don't know how to upload them but i'll give it a try! And!!!! IT's under $800!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
